BEGINNER BRIDGE HOLIDAYS

Join our beginner bridge holidays and learn to play duplicate bridge in a relaxed and friendly environment whilst enjoying a great hosted holiday. Expert tutors will be running seminars and assisted playing sessions each morning and evening. With the aim of taking you from a complete beginner to being able to play in assisted sessions in 7 days and completely unassisted in 14 days. We have split the holidays in the UK to part 1 and 2 so that you can take a little extra time to digest all that you are learning. All our holidays will have our standard bridge holiday running in a separate bridge room, so you will always have the opportunity to dip your two into the normal bridge sessions when you think you are ready to do so.

Our ethos to learning bridge is that by playing with assistance is preferred and supported by seminars. We all want to get the cards in hand as soon as possible and you will be encouraged to do so and you will always be learning alongside others with a similar experience level.

There is no point in rushing this and we believe that everyone should learn at their own pace and in a relaxed manner. Bridge is a game you may never truly master, your learning will never end so let's start in the best way possible and that's with a smile on your face and the sun on your back.

Improver Bridge HOLIDAYS

These holidays are focused on both learning and playing, in a friendly and social atmosphere and at a more relaxed pace. They will be run by experienced and friendly teachers.  They are not designed for complete beginners or tournament bridge players. Rather, they are aimed at players who have been learning and playing for at least a year and for players seeking to develop their skills and to gain confidence to play in competitive club duplicate sessions.

Morning sessions will begin with a seminar, introducing bidding and play techniques to improve your game. Seminars will be followed with prepared hands to illustrate the seminar topic. Sometimes we will discuss the hands as a group and other times we will play the hands in a supervised session where you will be able to ask for help and guidance with both bidding and play.

One evening will be a Competition night run as a standard duplicate session. Other evenings will be either supervised or unsupervised bridge, depending on your confidence levels.  We will tailor the holiday to suit your abilities.

Afternoons will be free for you to relax or explore the area.
